Boxes for Beirut is a German-Lebanese relief campaign under the governance of the German Association of the Sovereign Order of Malta.

We are a group of German and Lebanese friends who share a deep connection to Lebanon and its people. In response to the devastating blast in Beirut on the 4th of August 2020, we quickly launched the BOXES FOR BEIRUT initiative to provide immediate relief to families directly affected by the explosion. With time and through our many conversations with people on the ground, we developed a deep understanding of where and how we are most needed - and have diversified our programs addressing both long term and short term aid.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
RELIEF BOXES
Since our foundation, we have been able to distribute over 3,000 food and hygiene boxes to families in need.
HOUSING PROJEKT
Repair works in damaged residential buildings in Beirut.
EMMANUEL SCHOLARSHIP
Supporting pupils from disadvantaged families with school fees and necessary school materials.
